What a great year we had in 2011 shooting the class of 2012 high school seniors from our local Jacksonville Florida area schools. We wanted to showcase some photos from recent end of the year photo sessions. We’ve been bad at updating the blog and web site so forgive us if your photos are not in this post… We’ll put more up soon!!

Wow what a summer!! It was hot but at 904Seniors we had a rocking time!! To us this is what Jacksonville Florida high school senior photos are all about. Marilyn and her mom Mary contacted us and wanted to have senior photos done at their house on the intracoastal. What did we say?? Heck yeah!!! We had a great time and what a great senior and family! Now these are one of a kind senior portraits!!!!!

Water Colors – High School Senior Photos

Truth is, you may have to get your high school senior yearbook pic at the schools contract photo studio but you don’t have to get your high school senior portraits there. You are free to choose whatever studio or photographer you wish.

Meet Sarah, one of 904Seniors.com first and original models. Sarah started modeling with Scott Russell Photography last year and was our first official high school senior spokes model. With the addition of the 904Seniors brand, Sarah has also joined us this year to model again and spread the work about how awesome high school senior photos CAN be!

Not only has Sarah been a model for us but her and her family have become good friends with Janet and me. Sarah is a beautiful young lady, has a wonderful personality and is a very talented cheerleader for her high school. Oh, and did I mention she rocks her model pics??

Janet and I wish Sarah the best as she’s heading into her senior year and we look forward to watching her perform with her cheer team in the fall!

Sandalwood High School Class of 2011 Senior Pano

On September 13th I had the opportunity to photography the Sandalwood High School Senior Class of 2011 for their yearbook panoramic photo. Wow, talk about a lot of students!! I think they have around 615 seniors.

All the students assembled in the gym and I worked with Mrs. Guzzone, well actually she did all the work by getting everyone in place, and then I took the photos. The end result came out really nice, except for the flannel shirt guy that wasn’t supposed to be there. Don’t worry flannel shirt guy… Photoshop took care of YOU!

It was a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing the photo in the yearbook. But if you’d like a printed photo quality image for yourself then head over to my gallery site where you can purchase your copy. The photo is 10×20 and comes either in black or white border. I have to say that 904Seniors.com is starting off the year with a rockin Spokes Model program!! We’re getting Model applications in from all over Jacksonville and it’s blowing my mind!! I love reading through the apps to hear what everyone has to say and that’s part of my core beliefs; Senior portraits are a personal and unique experience and we at Scott Russell Photography and 904Seniors.com believe that getting to know our clients and spokes models fall in line with those beliefs. To us, everyone is a different so why would you group everyone into the same mold and give them the same choices as far as session location and backgrounds? It doesn’t make sense so we strive to be different and give our clients a special and unique experience.

Ok, I’ll get off my soap box (for now)…

So keep the applications coming! We’ve started contacting those that have already applied to setup their interview. So keep an eye on your inbox or Facebook messages! We look forward to meeting everyone and making this year the best yet!
